Our counselling services

Our counselling services are also available to alumni! Through individual preparation in the course of a personal consultation, application checks and mock interviews, we ensure that you have individual and appealing application documents and are ideally prepared for future application situations.

Individual counselling

The aim is to equip you with the skills you need to master future job applications. Where are your strengths – where are your weaknesses? What is your goal? Where do you want your career to take you? We want to work with you to sharpen your personal profile and develop possible career prospects that will help you make personal decisions about your career choice.

Application checks

Your application is your calling card and your ticket to an interview. For this reason, you should pay particular attention to the structure and consistency of these documents, as well as their layout and completeness. We would be happy to review your application with you and offer tips on how to improve it.

Mock interviews

Are you worried about your first job interview? There's no need to be! In simulated interviews (‘mock interviews’), we will help you practise questions and possible answers for a ‘real’ interview. Afterwards, you will receive feedback on your performance.

CareerLaunch series

As an alumna or alumnus of the University of Bayreuth, you can also participate in our CareerLaunch series. Our lectures and workshops teach the fundamentals of applying for jobs. Topics include discovering your strengths, job hunting, creating application documents, the use of AI in the application process, and job interviews.
