Career events with employers
CareerDays
At CareerDays, our students have the opportunity to work with employers from a wide range of industries to tackle exciting, practical issues. In workshops and case studies, students and company representatives get to know each other intensively, and it is not uncommon for this participation to be a springboard for our students to an internship or their first permanent position at their dream company.

CompanyInsights
Company Insights are our visits directly to the company or research institution. Excursions and factory tours offer in-depth insights not only into working practices but also into corporate culture. In addition, you get an impression of your potential place of work.

CareerPitch - Life Sciences & Food Law
In the winter semester of 2024/25, we welcomed institutions and companies to the Kulmbach campus for the first time for our 01. CareerPitch - Life Sciences & Food Law. This event is aimed specifically at students in the fields of life sciences, nutrition and food law. The participating institutions and companies come from the fields of food production, trade, supervision, analysis and law. The dialogue with potential employers is intended to facilitate the exchange of experiences and establish contacts for possible subsequent internships or permanent positions directly on campus.

Companies on Campus (CoC)
The proximity to practical experience is also promoted by the Companies on Campus lecture series. In addition to lectures on campus, the programme also includes webinars. This is a great opportunity to get to know companies and their culture better.

JobFenster (Job Window)
JobFenster focuses on first-hand experience reports and current projects from everyday practice. Once per semester, science students have the opportunity to learn about potential career fields in small groups and to discuss specific activities and requirements in a relaxed atmosphere with company representatives who have a similar professional background.

KarriereForum (Career Forum)
During the summer semester, the KarriereForum offers the ideal platform for meeting attractive employers from the fields of law, business and STEM. For more than 30 years, over 100 mostly international companies have been ensuring this. The dialogue with potential employers is intended to contribute to the exchange of experiences and the establishment of contacts for possible subsequent internships or permanent positions. We cooperate with various student initiatives and institutions to organise and support the event.

KUK - KarriereWege (Career Paths)
Alumni talk about their careers – you will hear first-hand accounts from young professionals with 1–5 years of professional experience. At each event, we will introduce you to a particular industry together with 3–4 alumni from different companies.
