Additional offers for international students
In addition to career counselling in English, application reviews, CV and cover letter uploads, and mock interviews, we offer our international students the following services:
- English-language e-learning course KarriereService - Offers for international students with information and tips on application and career topics, sample documents, exercises and German-language “how-to” videos on applications with English subtitles.
- PROFI plus: Certificate course"Planetary Health: Gesundheit, Ernährung und Umwelt": The certificate course offers international academics from the fields of health, nutrition or environmental sciences a transdisciplinary professional development programme that leads to a certificate from a German university in a shortened period of study. In the certified course, participants acquire important fundamentals from the fields of planetary health, supplemented by economics modules. In order to improve German language skills (minimum level B2) for entry into the job market, the course includes technical language courses in the fields of medicine and health sciences as well as economics. To better prepare participants for the German labour market, the Career Service offers workshops on job applications and career entry. The aim is to further increase participants' chances on the labour market by teaching them the language, technical and interdisciplinary skills they need, offering individually tailored advice and support, providing subject- and career-related coaching formats, and offering networking and mentoring programmes.
